Turn
right out of Stonepay; ignore the traffic turning points
directly by the entrance and continue to the next turning
point (before the big rock outcrop between the two carriageways).
Cross both carriageways of the main road and head to the
right (against the traffic) for a few yards.
It isn’t
obvious from the road but there is an animal trail you can
ride down to the valley floor. Once down and on the main
trail, turn right and climb towards the trees. On your left
just before the trail enters the trees and flattens out
is an earth mound that crosses a pipeline. This is a JUNCTION
where you join Twin Ridge
or Oil Canyon.
